Asya Dudko is a figurative sculptor and visual artist whose work merges sculpture, painting, and relief. Born in Russia, she grew up surrounded by the folklore, craftsmanship, and emotional richness of her culture: a source of vivid imagery in subject, colour, and form that continues to inspire her work. This heritage, combined with years of experience, forms the foundation of her distinctive visual style, known for its texture, symbolism, and poetic narrative.
Asya is a full Member of the Society of Women Artists (SWA) and has exhibited regularly at the Society’s annual exhibitions at the Mall Galleries, London. Asya is the winner of the Helen Sinclair Sculpture Award (2022). Her achievements include the John Doubleday Award (2025) and selection as a winner of the VAA Art100 International Award (2025), reflecting her growing recognition within the contemporary art community.
Asya is a passionate and experienced art tutor with a strong foundation in design and a love for sharing creativity with others. After moving to the United Kingdom in the early 2000s, she embraced new artistic opportunities while maintaining a deep connection to her roots.
She holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Interior Design and combines her professional studio practice with teaching students of all levels—from complete beginners to more experienced artists. Since 2018, Asya has taught at private art schools including Artsmart, Beaconsfiled and Artspiration, Maidenhead as well as in her studio at the Westbury Arts Centre, Milton Keynes.
Asya’s teaching approach is inclusive, supportive, and accessible. She has developed techniques that are easy to learn, making her classes suitable for everyone, with no prior art experience required.
