Creating Wool Art
Creating Wool Art

female Women-owned

My unique felt artworks capture my love for the Yorkshire Dales and are inspired by my rural childhood, spent exploring the local landscapes and wildlife.
My artworks are made from 100% sustainable wool and use a combination of traditional techniques; wet felting to make the “canvas” base, followed by intricate needle felting to add depth and character with finer details.
I liken this creative process to painting with wool. Blending colours and textures together to breathe life into the Yorkshire countryside and its wildlife, depicting nature in its full glory.
I live to teach people this ancient skill, it’s such a therapeutic and relaxing art form.
My artwork has been displayed in numerous galleries and as well as developing my own collections, I am also available to work on commission pieces.
I run felting courses at various locations around the country including wet felting and 3-D Felt Sculptures, please see the “Courses” Tab above for details.
For more information you can follow me on Instagram, where I post photographs and Videos of my work in progress.
