SILT, the Sustainable Image Lab Trowbridge SILT is a research studio for ecological image making, run by artists Anna and Alison. We hold in-person workshops for use of our facilities, public events, talks and exhibitions.

All elements of our programme relate to environmentally focused art practice. Processes and materials used and made in the workshop range from analogue photographic images developed with non-toxic plant based substance, paints, inks and dyes made using ecologically safe ingredients, textiles made with foraged or repurposed materials.
