No requirements, but if you have your own sewing machine you would like to bring to learn with, then you're welcome to do so. However, you can use one of ours.

Your teacher
Helen started creating at an early age and went on to study applied textiles and become a qualified trainer.A visual artist, Helen specialises in Textile & Mixed Media Art.Her practice has an emphasis on upcycling and the use of innovative textile art materials and techniques. She embraces a wide range of practices including both hand and free machine embroidery, wet and dry needle felting, surface fabric design, and embellishment.She also runs regular Creative Textile Workshops both at her own studio and for groups and events.Helen gives inspirational talks, produces on-demand digital guidance, and blogs and creates kits for us to get creative at home.Helen aims to bring some peace and play to our every day and believes the creative process can be therapeutic and is far more important than the finished product. She has been told that her sessions are "better than therapy"Helen says:“I love to pass on mixed media and creative stitch skills to others, encouraging play and experimentation for all ages. The process of trying new ideas and creativity truly enhances our well-being.”
