6 hours Class size 1 to 3 guests       £56

Join Bridie for a full day of exploring the wonderful ways with weaving. This relaxed, hands-on workshop is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of frame weaving, giving you plenty of opportunity to try different materials and techniques.
Throughout the day, you’ll learn how to set up a weaving frame, create your warp, and explore a variety of weaving techniques and different types of weaves. You’ll experiment with different yarns, fibres, and materials, looking at how texture, colour, and materials can be combined to create unique pieces.
Bridie will guide you through the process from start to finish, including how to finish your ends neatly and safely remove your weaving from the frame. No previous weaving experience is needed — just come along, get creative, and enjoy a full day of making! All materials are included.

We are a family-owned and run business in the heart of Bedfordshire. We have been providing a place to teach craft classes for 17 years.
Our tutors come from all walks of life but have one thing in common - they all love to craft. Over the years, hundreds of students have passed through our doors experiencing the joy that is to craft and learning new skills to take away and share. Many return for more and bring family and friends into the fold.
We have a fantastic group of tutors and staff who offer a whole range of expertise and knowledge. Alongside our classes, you can shop our extensive range of kits and patterns plus materials and supplies for patchwork and quilting, crochet and knitting, dressmaking, jewellery making and so much more.
