What you'll do
Learn a new skill in a friendly, cheerful, and beautiful environment!
This workshop is a gentle introduction to willow weaving. It's fun and chatty while also teaching skills used in later courses. You will learn three weaving techniques and use them to create anything from fish and dragonflies - or 'random invertebrates'! - to pomanders and sunflowers.
The small classes mean you can work at your own pace. The session can be as busy or relaxed as you wish. We will use a mix of materials, all growing on-site, so that you have the opportunity to explore possibilities and make your creations truly personal and unique!
By the end of your weaving class, you'll have gained some new craft-skills to take away with you, along with your wonderful woven work. Whether you're keen to pick up a new skill this year or you just fancy doing something different, this willow weaving workshop is for you!
