What you'll do
Looking for a new craft to satisfy that creative urge? Give this willow sculpting workshop a go! By weaving lengths of willow rods into shape, you can create a charming animal or bird figure that'll look amazing in the home or garden.
Hosted by an experienced willow tutor in a picturesque Cotswolds setting, you'll learn how to get started with this free-form take on traditional basketry techniques. Over the course of six hours, you'll build a lovely sculpture to take home with you, as well as picking up some handy crafting skills to help you carry on this fun hobby yourself.
Whether you're a crafty couple looking for date ideas or want to bring the whole family along for a day of creative fun, you'll love working with your hands in a welcoming, beginner-friendly environment.
During the year you can choose to make a variety of animals at this workshop, however in the November and December workshops you will make a Willow Stags Head - these are a bit more intense and so we ask all guests to make the same thing which makes it much easier.
