Willow Plant Supports Workshop

Join us in the garden for this rewarding one-day willow workshop. Make an obelisk or plant support (ideal for those sweet peas!) plus a decorative sunflower, dragonfly or bird feeder. This is a practical, fun class where you will create a couple of impressive items to take home.Set in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District, Zantium Studios offer the perfect place to relax and learn new skills. Come rain or shine, this class will take place outdoors. The garden backs onto fields with views across to Carsington Water making it a lovely place to be.Our expert (Eddie or Anthony) will also explain the basics of planting living willow in your garden to build larger structures at home such as willow dens, archways or tunnels.Open to all – both beginners and those with experience. Class sizes are kept small, and you will be guided step-by-step as your willow structures grow. This workshop makes a popular gift for garden lovers.Delicious picnic-style lunches are included with a choice of sandwiches and snacks - plus Alison’s legendary homemade cakes.We offer a range of willow classes here at Zantium Studios in Derbyshire including Basket Weaving, Willow Sculpture and Willow Garden Panels. Customers often return time and again to perfect their skills or try a different heritage craft. They always leave with new techniques, creative ideas and their own handmade items to enhance home or garden.
