What you'll do
Come along and discover a new hobby at this fun craft class in Leicester.
During this beginner-friendly class, you will learn all about the wonderful world of wet felting and how to create beautiful pictures and wall hangings using dyed wool fibres.
Your friendly teachers, Anne and Kate, will show you how to place the wool in the pattern or picture you desire and then gently felt the fibres together using hot, soapy water. This craft not only gets great results for your picture but is a great workout for your arms too!
Once you are happy with the base picture you can choose from an array of beads, buttons and much more to embellish your art. You will also have the opportunity to have a go at needle felting onto your picture if you fancy it.
This craft class promises to be full of creative fun and by the end of it, you will have a stunning creation to call your own, plus some newfound felting skills!

Forget-Me-Not is a small crafting venue with community in mind. We run Craft Den sessions for children to create throughout the school holidays and evening adult taster sessions for a variety of crafts, such as macrame, needle felting and embroidery. We also invite local crafters to come in to teach their specialisms such as cake decorating, jewellery and paper cutting.
