Hi, I'm Kate.

I'm the Founder and Lead Director of West Northamptonshire Pickleball and The Court Yard, a community-focused venue created to bring people together through sport, wellbeing and shared experiences.

For over 15 years I've worked in education, helping people learn new skills, build confidence and enjoy new experiences. Alongside this, I've developed a passion for creating welcoming community spaces where people can connect, have fun and try something different.

The Kitchen was created from an underused terrace within our venue and transformed into a creative workshop space inspired by one of the most famous areas in pickleball – the kitchen! It's now home to The Truffle Shuffle and a growing range of food, craft and community experiences.

I love teaching because I enjoy seeing people discover something new, whether that's learning a new sport, creating handmade chocolates or simply stepping outside their comfort zone and having a great time.

My workshops are designed to be relaxed, welcoming and beginner-friendly. No previous experience is needed – just a willingness to get involved, get creative and enjoy the experience.
