Hosted by maker Jennie Turner-Maskell in her charming home, this workshop offers step-by-step guidance in a small, relaxed group. You will learn everything you need to get started on your weaving journey.
During the workshop, you will learn how to:
  • Warp your custom-designed frame loom
  • Use basic weaving techniques, including Tabby, Rya Knots, Rya Loops, Soumak, Twill, and Hopsack
  • Finish and hang your completed piece
A huge range of beautiful yarns and materials will be available for you to experiment with, including sari silks, ribbons, textured yarns, roving, and metallics.
One of the best parts of this workshop is that the custom-designed frame loom is yours to keep. It's cleverly designed to be portable, fitting neatly into a small bag, so you can easily continue your new hobby at home or on your travels.
