Create a set of eco-resin ghost ornaments with a 'spirit' of their own!

In this ghost ornaments workshop, you will learn the art of creating your very own 'spirited' pals to take home! Throughout the class, you will discover how to mix, colour, and cast your ghosts, before adding any personal touches at the end.
Don't worry if you're a beginner to eco-resin – this class is designed to alleviate any fears and make the experience warm, relaxing, and uplifting. You'll receive guidance and support every step of the way, creating a relaxed atmosphere where mistakes are welcomed (and even celebrated!) as part of the learning process.
During the workshop, you will work with different colours and techniques, exploring different styles and designs for your ghost ornaments. The hands-on activity will offer a wonderful opportunity to let your creativity flow and maybe even surprise yourself with your newfound artistic skills.
As you delve into this creative adventure, not only will you learn how to create ghost ornaments, but you will also experience the transformative power of crafting. You'll leave the workshop with your own unique set of ghost ornaments, ready to bring a touch of ghoulish charm to your home.
This class, along with all of our classes, is 16+ years only. Children, toddlers and babes in arms are not able to be present for this adults only class.
We are a queer & female owned safe space, meaning we welcome people of all races, religions, sexualities, genders with no discrimination; you're truly free to be yourself here. We are a dog friendly venue - should you wish to bring your dog you're more than welcome as long as you let us know ahead of time and your dog is well behaved & kept on the lead under your table.

Studio Dawn, Dantzic Street, Manchester

To find our shop, you can arrive by train, tram, bus, car or by foot! We are an 8 minute walk from Manchester Victoria train station, a similar distance from Shudehill, Exchange Square and Manchester Victoria tram stops. There are a wide selection of busses that come close to our shop. Red Bank Car-park is within 5 minutes walking distance, although charges apply as the carpark is not owned or controlled by us.

Your teacher can also travel within 100 miles of Manchester, to a venue of your choice for a private class.

Plenty of colours to choose from and the teacher was always available to help you if you mixed the wrong colour! Teachers instructions were clear and easy to understand and the class was good fun!

Two classes on at the same time with multiple teachers, everyone was so lovely and it was great chatting with others who'd chosen the same class as us. I'm Chelsie, a macrame maestro and all-round craft queen based in Manchester!
I found macrame during the pandemic when I needed something to calm my mind. I found so much mindfulness within the craft, and have since opened a creative studio where people come together to learn macrame and other crafts as a form of self care.
I'm passionate about sharing different ways to be creative; I don't believe that you have to be great (or even good!) at a craft to find joy and peace in it. The first step to being good at something is being bad at it!
