  • 5/5 from Darren John Spear, attended Sep 2026: Was great fun, with really good simple instructions. Even my painting looked half decent. Atmosphere was brilliant lots of chatter, venue was a bit noisy (lounge bar in thame) but drinks available etc. Had a really fun night. Photos...what it should have looked like and mine...guess which is which
  • 5/5 from Sarah, attended Jun 2026: Fabulous evening, overall a relaxed, and fun experience. The Teacher was great and went through each step clearly and helped when needed. Music playlist was upbeat and we were able to have food and drink whilst we painted. would definitely recommend
  • 5/5 from Tina Massie, attended Jun 2026: Had a fab evening. Lots of time taken to explain/show us how to achieve our own paintings.
  • 5/5 from Julie & Simon Waterer, attended May 2026: What a great experience- first time at a Brush Party event and will definitely participate in another. Katie our teacher was wonderful, and her instruction was clear and concise. Great fun a lot of laughter and thoroughly recommend to anyone considering coming along.
  • 5/5 from Claudette Bishop, attended May 2026: I absolutely loved tonight. I came alone. But didn’t feel like I had. I learnt how to put a better finish on my water, as I wasn’t pleased with what I had done. Liked that there was music in the background. Totally didn’t feel it was three hours! Definitely come again and hopefully bring my daughter in law next time
  • 5/5 from Karen Bladwin, attended May 2026: No occasion just a great night out. Our teacher had great skills and made the evening really enjoyable. Good music with songs you could sing along to plus quiet moments when everyone was concentrating. You could buy drinks to enjoy whilst painting. It amazed me that I did such a good painting.
  • 5/5 from Michele Young, attended May 2026: Loved it - right pace - very helpful and I am happy with my picture thank you

  • 5/5 from Nix Jardine, attended May 2026: What an amazing evening Loved it all I was a bit apprehensive at the beginning as I haven’t painted in years and would say “I can’t paint” but the instructor was so welcoming and showed us what to do - it was great, very relaxing and everyone loved what they had created I’ll definitely be back I would recommend to one and all Thank you
  • 5/5 from Debbie, attended Mar 2026: Had the best time, loved the whole evening and really enjoyed the painting and tuition
  • 5/5 from Alison Simms, attended Feb 2026: I won’t be giving up my day job but what a great time my friend and I had!!. Great teacher with clear instructions to follow. Location is local and convenient for us, only one negative was the lighting could have been a little brighter but that’s probably an age thing!! Overall lovely event, would definitely do another one and would highly recommend for a great evening out.
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Feb 2026: My first event and I really enjoyed it. Good fun and I want to paint more.
  • 5/5 from Joanna Hartlen, attended Jan 2026: Another great evening of painting. My friend and I attend loval Brushparties regularly and were delighted to have the lovely Katie guide us through a tricky painting. Thanks to Katie's teaching style, patience and attentiveness everyone produced a fab artwork. I really enjoyed this one and it was the perfect pace.
  • 5/5 from Lauren Harris, attended Dec 2025: It was a lovely evening with friends and family. We all had a great time. Would highly recommend to others and will definitely be booking again in the new year. Thank you x
  • 5/5 from Clare Mills, attended Dec 2025: Lovely festive class painting the nutcracker!
  • 4/5 from Alison McEwan, attended Dec 2025: Really enjoyable evening. We were Nervous to start as it’s been along time since we had done any painting. Good instructions. Help if needed. Seemed rushed at the end- as we were late starting and then the mic failed. Everyone was social, and we all Produced a finished item.
  • 2/5 from Emily Barratt, attended Dec 2025: I’ve been to 3 paint and sip classes and absolutely loved them but last nights class didn’t tick any of my boxes. I will say the teacher was very nice and did the steps well but apart from that it was all carnage. Firstly there was way too many people, it would have been fine if there was a few people helping but the lady was on her own. Which meant that we didn’t get any water change (so the brushes never cleaned properly) and we didn’t get the correct colours because it was hard to ask for what we needed. We were also squashed into 2 tables which were in the centre of the restaurant (other people dining around us so made it hard to concentrate and hear the teacher)- we were constantly bashing people next to us as there just wasn’t enough space. Lastly the most frustrating thing was that the brushes were in very bad condition which made it hard to try and achieve the desired painting. The bristles were all sticking out and myself and my mum had 2 brushes with bristles that were stuck together. Overall we were pretty disappointed - which is a huge shame as we used to come and unwind and relax but it just wasn’t that experience this time.
  • 4/5 from Georgia Caitlin Quigley, attended Nov 2025: Really enjoyed the class and what we painted. Instructors were really nice and friendly. Compared to a previous class I have done this instructor was really fast, it seemed a lot of us were struggling to catch up at points. We had finished at 9.30 but it suggests the class finished at 10 so could’ve been good to use that time. Otherwise had a fabulous time thank you
  • 3/5 from Nikki, attended Nov 2025: Lovely venue. The lady helping out was very good, helpful and offered some great guidance. The class itself was not so great, it went far to quickly, resulting in a less than relaxing experience (I have done quite a few of these sessions before to compare). I am however pleased with my final painting, which I am relieved about as I travelled for this session specifically because I liked the painting.
  • 5/5 from Andrea James, attended Oct 2025: Such an easy great evening. No talent required!!
  • 3/5 from Joanne Studd, attended Oct 2025: This is the second one I have done. I did enjoy it but the lighting was very poor making it difficult to paint and we were sat far too close together.
  • 5/5 from Alicia, attended Sep 2025: I took my sister to this as a birthday outing and it was so much fun! Katie was a great teacher, and made the whole session really relaxed and enjoyable. Neither of us can paint or draw, but we both came away with paintings that look amazing and we are really proud of. Thank you for such a fun evening!
  • 5/5 from Tom Harold, attended Sep 2025: Well organised, well run and great fun - nice to try something a bit different. Thanks!
  • 4/5 from Becks Damerell, attended Sep 2025: Really fun class to do with friends, Katie was lovely, would definitely do it again!

  • 5/5 from Abi Armstrong, attended Jun 2025: Lovely class, teacher very helpful.
  • 5/5 from Alison Churchill, attended May 2025: It was my first time at a class and I was honestly surprised at the quality of the painting I was able to create! The skilled teacher had a lot to do with it. The pace was good and the instruction was very clear throughout. Above all it was fun and the time flew by!
  • 5/5 from Rebekah Ridgway, attended May 2025: A really enjoyable evening. Easy to follow along and a lovely piece of artwork to take home too!
  • 5/5 from Joanna Hartlen, attended May 2025: Great class with Katie. This was the first one at the Candello Lounge in Thame, and I really liked the venue. As always, Katie's instruction was excellent, and everyone produced a really lovely painting. Overall, it was a very nice, relaxing, and creative evening.
  • 5/5 from Ann Solomon, attended May 2025: I loved the session. It was well organised and Katie is such fun. But most of all I came back for a second session because of the mindfulness value. I spent three hours totally immersed in the art. Fantastic!
  • 5/5 from Miss Claire Wheeler, attended Apr 2025: It was a really fun great experience. Learnt some painting techniques and the teacher went at a good pace. Everything at the venue was well setup and organised.
  • 5/5 from Cecelia Willemse, attended Apr 2025: The setting, teacher, teacher assistant, and item to be painted were all very good. I am still amazed that I could produce such lovely piece of art. This is obviously due to the guidance and patience of the teachers.
  • 5/5 from Stella Jackson, attended Feb 2025: Bought this as a bd present for my daughter. We had a great evening....so lovely to lose yourself in the process and find time to communicate without her 2 toddlers. The teacher was really attentive and encouraging, and I am unbelievably proud of my fantastic painting!
  • 5/5 from Lindsay Austin, attended Jan 2025: Great night and lovely setting

  • 5/5 from Tracy Stacey, attended Sep 2024: This was an amazing experience. a great catch up with my friend, the teacher was fabulous. and helped when needed, great fun and value for money.
  • 5/5 from Louise Falcon, attended Sep 2024: This was my 6th event with you guys and I love them, they allow me to do something just for me where I don't have time to think about anything else other than the painting. Katie is an amazing teacher, instructions are clear and she gives help and support when needed. Venue was ok but a little cramped in space, great background music although we did all find ourselves singing along to the tunes when we should have been listening to instructions :-) Think the pricing is just right, I would struggle to pay if the price was much higher, this is the only time I really get to myself to completely switch off. I've learnt to trust the process and i'm by no means a painter but have been very happy with my outcomes. Thank you.
  • 5/5 from Sharon Groom, attended Aug 2024: Really fun evening. Venue was good as air conditioned on one of the hottest days. Teacher was very good gave good tips for technique. Handled late arrivals (1 hr late!) very well as 2nd teacher /assistant was able to get them up to speed, would have been difficult if there’d only been one person.
  • 5/5 from Samantha Ranieri, attended Aug 2024: Date night. Jess was fabulous, would definitely recommend a brush party evening out. So much fun
  • 4/5 from Mrs Ingrid Sansom, attended Aug 2024: The teachers were knowledgeable and friendly and helped us catch up as we got there a bit late. The pub had free car park in front. Material were all provided and with a drink, some music and step by step instructions we all went home with a nice painting:) and a big smile.
  • 5/5 from Jessica Williams, attended Jul 2024: Katie was brilliant explained everything really well and checking everyone was ok. The place was a little cramped and lighting could of been better Really like the painting
  • 5/5 from Greta, attended Jul 2024: We had a great time, our teacher Katie was very helpful and encouraging. Never having painted before we came away with three pictures which resembled the picture! A really fun evening, thank you.
