Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 5/5 from Fay O'Connell, attended Nov 2025: joined a local christmas wreath making session which was held at local Hobbycraft Reasonable priced with all materials and tools needed. We used a glue gun rather than wiring items to the wreath. There was plenty of materials left over from our hobbycraft wreath making box to take home. It was held in quiet area in a relaxed, friendly environment and wasnt rushed to complete task. Simple clear suggestions and options.
  • 5/5 from Angela Tolley, attended Nov 2025: I attend with a couple of residents from Wilhelmina Care Home, they really enjoyed the class we interacted with the teacher and another lady who attended. It was simple enough for the residents to get involved with. One of the residents brought some items after the session which she was pleased with. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. we will be coming back again thank you
  • 5/5 from Penelope Keppler, attended Nov 2023: This was the best this was the best workshop by far. Generous materials, Artisan was fantastic. Of all the workshops I've done this was the very best value for money. My family love my wreath. Thank you - will be back next year!
  • 5/5 from Sam, attended Nov 2023: Great amount of resources and lovely advice to create an amazing wreath. Great experience and money well spent.
  • 4/5 from Yvonne Morgan, attended Nov 2023: The teacher was friendly and helpful.the materials provided where lovely although I thought there would be a few more and the equipment for wreath making wasadequate. It was an enjoyable experience learning to make a Xmas wreath.
  • 5/5 from Jiyoun Lee, attended Dec 2022: Nice and friendly class. I can also choose the ingredients yourself. I recommend this class strongly.
  • 4/5 from Gemma Slater, attended Nov 2022: Great teacher, her name was Jenny. Very friendly and helpful with tips and ideas. For £35 I was expecting a few more bits and pieces to be included, like wreath embellishments. For that money I got the base, some raffia ribbon, 6 berry bunches and some small pine cones. It would have been nice to have cinnamon sticks and dried oranges included - I had to purchase the oranges as extras.
