Yin Yoga and Mindful Art Workshop

Movement and creativity to help you cultivate inner peace and outward expression

2 hours Class size 1 to 30 guests       £15

Join Natasha for this gorgeous workshop combining yin yoga with a meditative art session.
Yin yoga works by slowing everything down. Instead of moving dynamically between poses, you settle into gentle shapes and hold them for several minutes, allowing your muscles to relax so the deeper connective tissues—the fascia, ligaments, and joints—can be safely stimulated.
This stillness encourages the body to release tension while also calming the nervous system, helping you shift into a more restful, meditative state. It’s less about effort and more about allowing yourself to be, giving you time to turn inward, notice your breath, and create space physically and mentally. You don’t need any experience of yoga to try yin. If you have injuries, you can make adjustments, and there is always the potential to just lie and get cosy, listening to the music and soaking up the energy.
After the grounding yin practice, we transition into the creative drawing portion of the workshop. With the body softened and the mind quieter, it becomes much easier to access a natural, intuitive form of expression.
Rather than focusing on skill or technique, the art session invites you to respond to how you feel, letting shapes, lines, and textures emerge freely. The yin prepares you by clearing mental clutter and releasing physical tension, so when you begin drawing, creativity can flow more effortlessly and authentically. We will try a few different methods of art-making, a personal favourite being a linked breathwork and line drawing exercise! These are all techniques and methods that you can apply to your daily life too!

Hi fellow crafters!
My name is Natasha and I’ve spent the last ten years since graduating from Chelsea College of Art (BA) honing my craft, learning, and teaching hundreds of workshops within the charity sector, for prestigious gardens, and top fashion houses. I recently finished my master's in textiles at Manchester School of Art (MA) and completed my Yoga teacher training in India, with a focus on inclusivity through additional trauma-informed training.
My passion and great love is creating welcoming spaces for people to be engaged in traditional craft and art. I work from a non-judgmental and encouraging attitude, so I will leave you to enjoy the process, but I am always happy to nerd out about craft and appreciate you picking my brains and expertise!
I truly believe in the transformative power of making and mindfulness found in the creative process. I help to manage my own stress with creativity, and my own artwork explores this immersion in the process of art-making along with a connection to nature. I work from a cozy art studio, where you are welcome to come and do a class, but I am very happy to host private sessions at your house or venue, and regularly collaborate with organizations and venues to bring you high-quality craft and art sessions. See you soon!
