Richard took time explaining stages of pottery throwing, was patient and gave timely assistance. I enjoyed managing to throw one successful pot. Although 1 collapsed the 3rd looked more like a shallow dish I never felt pressurised to be perfect. Can't wait to paint and then sign up for more classes. Thank you Richard

As complete beginners, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable from the start. Richard was a fantastic teacher, He explained every step clearly and was incredibly patient and supportive throughout the session. On top of that he was a great comedian and kept the class laughing which made the whole experience cr even more enjoyable! We would definitely recommend this class to anyone wanting to try pottery for the first time and we’ll certainly be back for another session!

Richard is good at intervening and correcting stuff quickly so we could make good use of the time. We’re definitely going back to decorate our pots and will book for the Raku also.

He went round each of us to make sure we were picking up the technique and was always there to help and answer any questions. I will be going back to Richard for more classes and most importantly to finish painting my pots once they have been fired.

It was so much fun, we felt very welcome and under the expert supervision managed to make a few respectable pieces. I would highly recommend it for a value for money, fun morning activity. We will definitely return to paint and glaze the pieces and are looking at booking again for the full day.
