Hey I'm Amber :)

I started my tufting journey in September 2021, I graduated from Huddersfield University with a 1st where I studied Textiles design and specialised in Tufting- woven construction.

In 2025 i achieved my PGCE in secondary Design and Technology with Art. Expanding my rug tufting workshops to a wider audience in schools to inspire the next generation of designers.

Currently, I have a home studio located in Sheffield. Here I offer and teach rug tufting workshops – making your own custom rugs to take home. During the workshop you will learn all the skills of tufting and how to use a cut pile tufting gun.

I also offer custom rug designs. My commissions are designed and produced to your style. This can be anything from recreating your favourite cartoon character, to designing personalised pet portraits (which is my favourite). I’m more than happy and excited to work with you on creating something from initial designs, bespoke, and meaningful.

All my rugs are created using a combination of tufting guns which offers a variety of texture and depth. The use of colour is a fundamental part of my work, I particularly enjoy working with a bright colour pallet, however I enjoy working with a simple black and white colour pallet too.
