What you'll do
Blank Tile
Ready for decoration. You will draw out your design and choose the colour palette. for your tile.
Painting
You will spend the majority of the session painting onto your tile, adding as much or as little detail as you like.
Glazed and Finished
You will then glaze your tile to prepare it for firing! Tile(s) will be ready to collect in 3-5 weeks.
- Choose your base tile – Pick the size that best fits your vision.
- Master decorating techniques – Use the provided materials to add colour and patterns to your pieces.
- Experiment with designs – Create a matching set or a variety of different styles.
- Enjoy a social atmosphere – Connect with fellow makers in a friendly, uplifting space.

Knowledge required
This class' is aimed at anyone who wants a go at painting ceramic.
What to bring
Drawing and painting can be daunting at first, so I recommend bringing any sketches, ideas, or designs you like along to the session for inspiration. If you would like to trace your image onto the tile, bring a small print matching the tile size.Paintbrushes will be provided, but if you have any favourite ones you want to use for really fine detail, you can bring them along.

Your teacher
Olivia is a ceramics artist and maker from Liverpool with over four years of teaching experience in clay and painting. She spends most of her time in Lark Lane Pottery or working from her studio.All creations will go through at least two firings in the kiln to around 1000 degrees.It is recommended not to partake in sports or shower in your charms.
