Hello, I'm Nicola, a self-taught artist from Wiltshire and I began specialising in the bright and bold art of silk painting in 2014, when I was 17.​Since then, I have won multiple Young Entrepreneur awards, sold my work to customers in over 30 countries, appeared on Channel 4’s ‘Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas’ and had my scarves appear in episodes of Emmerdale and The Walking Dead!I make silk scarves, silk paintings, prints, cards, and silk painting kits. My designs reflect positivity and happiness and I hope to inspire joy in others, often using a bright palette of colours and motivational words. Many of my paintings celebrate natural beauty, such as flowers, landscapes and the female form.I also teach silk painting workshops in Wiltshire and the surrounding areas to groups of all ages and abilities, including Beavers and Scout groups, Teachers, Home Educated Students, Women’s Institutes and individuals.​Nicola Davis Crafts was born out of adversity but inspired by positivity. Having battled and beaten both anorexia and depression in the past, my designs now reflect positivity and happiness, two qualities which I could not value more. Come along to one of my friendly workshops and discover this wonderful art form!
