Food and cooking are central to self-care and wellness. In this nurturing three-day cooking course, we combine hands-on cookery lessons with restorative yoga sessions. Join us at the Natural Cookery School in Nailsworth for this rewarding and unique experience.

Over three days, we’ll show you how to use locally sourced, organic ingredients to create a selection of seasonal dishes to rebalance your body, and we’ll teach you all about fermentation, baking and seed sprouting along the way.

Your experienced teacher Erin will share her expertise in culinary skills, seasonal foods, and combining ingredients with care, giving you all the tools you need to embrace a health-giving diet that’s packed with flavour and goodness.

To nourish your body further, we'll be holding yoga classes every day. These yoga sessions are run by Sharon from Grace and Glow, a yoga studio in Nailsworth focused on rejuvenation and empowerment.

Class times:

  • Friday 3pm to 8:30pm (yoga to start)
  • Saturday 8:30am to 4:30pm (yoga in the morning)
  • Sunday 10am to 4pm (yoga in the morning)

Cooking class outline:
  • Learn about plant-based proteins
  • Explore the principles of alkaline eating
  • Master satisfying salads for all seasons, including dressings
  • The art of soup – from stock to serving bowl
  • Naturally sweet – create pleasing cakes and desserts using unrefined sugars
  • Sprouting and fermenting – nature’s nutritional powerhouses
  • Conquer knife, sauce and ingredient-matching skills
  • Learn to cook health-giving meals for family and friends in a flash

Yoga class outline:
The team at gorgeous yoga studio Grace and Glow have curated a schedule of sessions that resonate with our self-care menu, with a mixture of Hatha and Restorative Yoga to support you through your wellness journey.

Classes will blend traditional yoga poses and creative, intuitive movement patterns, at a steady pace. Expect freedom to play and explore as you move your body and feed your soul; using the breath to invite a softer quality into your movement. Then give yourself permission to slow down, unwind and find your inner glow as we move into a deeply nourishing, restorative practice.
