As a child, I always had a fascination with ancient metalwork. As a result, I got a blacksmithing day experience for Christmas one year. And I was hooked!Fast forward 13 years, and I am now an accomplished blacksmith with several big artworks commissioned, several TV appearances, my own workshop, and living my dream of teaching people the craft.I fell into teaching courses, but once I did, I have never looked back. My absolute passion for the craft and sharing that knowledge is my favorite part of what I do. Seeing the faces of complete beginners creating something they are genuinely proud of from a piece of regular stock never fails to leave me a happy camper!If you have ever wanted to try blacksmithing, you are just curious, or you fancy an activity that's a bit different, come give it a try. It's hitting hot metal with a hammer, what's not to love?!
