In this vibrant cooking workshop, you'll learn how to prepare authentic Thai and Vietnamese dishes using traditional ingredients and techniques. Throughout the session, you'll develop essential South East Asian cooking skills while creating multiple flavourful dishes to enjoy.
This hands-on activity welcomes participants of all skill levels, requiring no previous experience with Thai or Vietnamese cuisine. The process combines aromatic ingredients with straightforward preparation methods – perfect for bringing the distinctive flavours of South East Asia into your kitchen.
During the workshop, you'll master the creation of several iconic dishes including a uniquely spiced Massaman curry with its complex blend of spices, fresh Vietnamese spring rolls with their delicate rice paper wrappers, and the aromatic coconut soup, tom kha gai. You'll work with distinctive ingredients like galangal, lemongrass, and fish sauce – the building blocks that create the characteristic flavours of this region's cooking.
By the end of this flavourful workshop, you'll have prepared multiple South East Asian dishes and gained valuable skills that take your cooking to a new level.
