After studying art and photography at Richmond Upon Thames college, Nellie utilised none of that knowledge to embark on a career in catering, hospitality and, for 15 years, rock ‘n’ roll tour managing and running her own music merchandise mail order business.

The 2020 pandemic largely put paid to all that, the entertainment industry was devastated, so she decided to revisit her creative past to pursue a life long desire to become a milliner, training with Katherine Elizabeth at her Millinery and Business Academy and attending workshops with other celebrated milliners to learn age old hat making skills and techniques of the craft.

To share her knowledge and skills, Nellie now runs creative workshops for bridal showers, corporate team-building events, festivals, retreats or a festive celebration. You are welcome to host the workshop yourself at your chosen venue or Nellie can arrange a suitable venue from your event.
