The Flower Folk is a flower, plant and gift shop based in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. Owner Pip has a very simple vision -- to combine seasonality with quality, and to bring a sense of the outdoors in. With over 20 years floristry experience, working with some of the most high profile event florists in London, Pip wanted to share her floristry skills with others. On top of running a busy shop and wedding service, she also runs a very successful programme of public events covering many areas of flower and plant care throughout the year.

Brilliant class - absolutely loved our wreaths, can’t wait to put them up! Great birthday present for my mum and sister.
Pip was so accommodating as we brought along my 2 month old niece who required several nappy changes! Nothing was a hassle. Have recommended to all our friends

Lovely class! Really filled me with joy on a chilly autumn day and was a brilliant activity for a team-building event. The shop is gorgeous and is a lovely setting full of beautiful things to inspire creativity. Our teachers were really talented and kind and the pace was very chilled and relaxing. We had a lovely cuppa and (vegan - thank you!) treats, and watched a demo before getting started on our own spiralled bouquets. I learnt loads and love my final arrangement - it'll last so long too!
