Good examples in the studio. She very much listened to what we each wanted to do and supported those aims. The class was not at all prescriptive so we each made something quite different from each other. I was given a gift card for the workshop, which was easy to redeem.

Her work is stunning and was displayed around the room to give inspiration to attendees, and it sure did that and more! The art studio was fantastic, comfortable, inspiring with all the mixed media materials you'd ever dream to experiment with. Also gave attention to all of us to support us in trying new things, and bringing our visions to life. The end result for all the attendees was fantastic!! The 5 hours was the perfect amount of time to get completely absorbed and come away with a beautiful finished piece. Thank you very much Alma. This was a very special and inspiring experience

Alma is super lovely and having her expertise and help made it really easy to create a beautiful painting. Would definitely love to do another class with her.

It didn’t feel rushed at all and was such a fun setting in the studio. Would highly recommend going along whether you are on your own or with a small group of friends.

Alma is incredibly experienced and talented, a great trainer, fun, welcoming, attentive and supportive. She explained everything in detail and gave clear instructions and honest experienced opinions on the materials. She made the fun, creative side come out of me. Her studio is very cosy and welcoming, with lots of chocolates I cannot wait to put into practice what i have learnt and attend another one of her workshops soon. The day allowed plenty of time for hands on learning and most people finished their pieces in time, with recommendations on how to develop their piece of they wished. Overall a fun day of textured abstract painting!

I was very tired and frozen after a long journey, and really not in a creative mood when I arrived. However, I forgot about the tiredness and the freezing cold outside as learnt so much during the day! It was just fascinating. I don't know anything about technique, but Alma helped me learn new skills with brilliant tips. I experienced more than I created. Unlike my lovely fellow students who produced magnificent pieces of art and knew exactly what they wanted, I produced something that I did not particularly like, but it was a fantastic learning experience and time flew. As the group was small (6) Alma was able to help and teach each of us new skills. Really brilliant. If you book thing go for this one!
