In this pottery class, over three 2.5-hour sessions on consecutive Wednesdays starting 26 June, you will delve into the art of making coiled pots. Learn how to manipulate shape by directing coils in various ways and how to integrate lids into your vessels. Discover the intricacies of texture, glazes, firing temperatures, and decorative techniques while creating at least three pieces of pottery to cherish.
Don't worry if you're new to this - our workshop is welcoming, and you'll be guided every step of the way, embracing the creative process alongside fellow makers. Coiled pots are all about connections, both physical and social, opening up a world of sculptural possibilities in ceramics.

What you'll get
Coiled pots are all about connections, both physical and social, opening up a world of sculptural possibilities in ceramics. You will end the series with at least three coiled pottery vessels to be collected at a later date from the studio after they have been fired.
 
What to bring
Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting messy! All materials and equipment are provided in our fully equipped ceramics studio.
