What you'll do
Come and learn the traditional craft of Stained Glass and make your own decorative mirror from scratch. This is the perfect taster day experience for anyone wanting to learn skills in glasswork.This is a hands-on course, covering all processes including glass cutting, leading, soldering, cementing, and polishing your piece. Our expert tutor will give you a good grounding in the core skills, whilst also enabling you to finish your piece during the day ready to take home and show off!Learn about different types of glass and choose from a wide range of colours and textures to suit your style.Essential Info:
- Due to the use of lead, it is recommended that pregnant women do not attend.
- Use of a soldering flux derived from animal fat is necessary on this course, so regrettably, it is not vegan.
- Tea and coffee are included during the day but please bring your own lunch or pick something up from the local High Street.
- There is ample free parking in the streets outside and around the venue.

We are a creative studio based in Staple Hill offering a wide range of craft courses, classes and workshops from sewing, dressmaking, stained glass, printmaking, upholstery, crochet, weaving and much more. Our classes run 7 days a week and we have activities for adults and kids during the day and evening. Why not learn a new skill or improve one you already have at a one of our exciting workshops? Our studio space is also available to hire.
