Stained Glass Christmas Decorations Workshop

Come and enjoy a mindful, creative afternoon making three beautiful Christmas-themed stained glass decorations at Westbury Wildlife Park in Bristol.You'll start by choosing your three designs from a lovely selection of Christmas-themed patterns. Once you've picked your pieces, you'll learn how to cut the glass – it's far more intuitive than you might expect. Your teacher will guide you through using a pattern, selecting the right glass colours, and cutting with confidence. From there, you'll apply copper foil to the edges of each piece, solder them together, and clean them up until they shine. Each step builds on the last, and by the end of the session, you'll have three finished decorations ready to treasure.The workshop feels unhurried and low-pressure – there's time to enjoy the process and ask questions without rushing. The park setting adds to the peaceful, creative atmosphere. There's a café on-site for drinks and cakes, or bring your own lunch and enjoy the plenty of outdoor spaces to relax in. Shops are just a 10-minute walk away if you'd like to stretch your legs during a break.By the end of the afternoon, you'll walk away with three one-of-a-kind pieces that you've made with your own hands – Christmas decorations that'll catch the light beautifully and become cherished keepsakes.Please note: this workshop uses solder which contains lead, so it's not suitable for pregnant women. An extraction fan is provided, and gloves and masks are available should you wish to use them.
