- 1/5 from James Gooding, attended Jul 2025: Must say, we came away from the experience feeling very underwhelmed. We had booked this for our 10th wedding anniversary and paying the money we did, it was not worth the money. A few issues to highlight: 1) the meal was meant to be 6 dishes, but we only got 5 with the mushrooms not being cooked 2) the instructor ran out of key ingredients like garlic paste and saffron, which led to a pretty bland paella. It seems the prep work going into the class was not the best. 3) the portion sizes were tiny. We got one tiny meatball each, 2 prawns and generally small portions throughout. Even the mince meat had to be defrosted in the microwave and didn’t look the best. 4) most disappointing was the actual lack of cooking. For a 2 hour cooking class, I chopped some tomatoes and my wife chopped a lemon and that was it. Just was not worth the money in the slightest and we ended up having to go out for dinner after to make up for it.
