Sophie Innes is a printmaker and educator based in Shropshire, with over 30 years’ experience in the creative industries and education.

Sophie produces a distinctive body of lino prints inspired by the rich patterns and textures of flora, fauna and everyday objects. Working with a restrained colour palette, Sophie introduces subtle accents of colour to create focus and visual impact. Her considered compositions are hand-finished using chine collé and acrylic mediums, adding depth and refinement to each piece.

Alongside her studio practice, Sophie delivers regular lino printing workshops across Shropshire, sharing her technical expertise and passion for printmaking with artists of all levels
