Settle In

Settle In

Pick a chair, grab a drink from the bar, and settle in. These are social workshops, so some people come in groups to catch up, but lots come solo - say hi to the other people on your table and see what they're planning to collage

Grab a Base

Grab a Base

We have tons of supplies: books, magazines, maps, papers and all sorts. Take a walk around the room and take in what's about and then grab a base to build from. We have lots of card and paper to get you going - and you'll find glue and scissors on your table

Rummage Through Our Drawers

Rummage Through Our Drawers

Our drawers are filled with collage gold. Don't be shy! There's tissue papers, printing scraps and things we've saved from workshops for your pleasure. Have a rummage and find inspiration

Cut, Stick and Chat

Cut, Stick and Chat

Once you've gathered some supplies, you can relax into some mindful collaging. Find some bits that inspire you, layer them up, throw them away - do as you wish!

Snoop, Share and Celebrate

Snoop, Share and Celebrate

You're encouraged to take a walk around the room towards the end of the session to see what other people have been up to. Ask about their inspiration, gather some ideas for next time - and share you new work proudly! - We'll have bags at the ready when it's time to go home.

Join Something Good Workshops for a relaxed, untutored collage social.
This isn’t your typical craft class – it’s a cosy, open-ended creative session where you can explore collage and zine-making using our curated collection of supplies. Whether you're cutting, pasting or simply playing, this is your space to switch off, unwind, and create something totally your own.
Explore our vintage magazines, books and large supply of scrapbooking supplies, find something that inspires and craft the evening away in good company with great chat.
Perfect for:
  • A mindful way to spend an evening
  • Solo creatives or groups of friends
  • Trying something new without pressure
  • Making gifts, zines, or just beautiful messes
No experience needed – just bring yourself and we’ll handle the rest.

Hi, we’re Emily and Jess, the creative minds behind Something Good Workshops!
Our journey began in 2019 when Emily launched Something Good Workshops (originally known as MADEptford) as a way to spread crafty joy and raise funds for running the London Marathon. What started as a one-time idea quickly grew into a passion for bringing people together through creativity. Since then, we’ve hosted a wide variety of workshops, from arm knitting to body casting, in all kinds of spaces - corporate offices, cosy pubs, pop-up shops, and even people’s homes.
After taking a short break, we’re back with fresh energy and an exciting new partnership. Jess has joined the team, and together, we’re on a mission to spark joy and empower people to explore their creativity in relaxing, welcoming spaces. We believe there’s something magical about slowing down, working with your hands, and leaving with something you’ve made yourself - whether it’s a chunky knit blanket, a personal shrine, or a collage bursting with personality.
What makes us unique? We’re all about creating an environment where people feel at ease, whether they’re a total beginner or a seasoned maker. Over the years, we’ve held workshops in so many different settings, and one thing always stands out: the joy people feel when they realize just how creative they can be.
We’re not just here to teach a craft - we’re here to help you unwind, have fun, and leave with a tangible reminder that you’re capable of making something good.
We can’t wait to meet you at a workshop soon!
