We paint, we party! This is not a painting class as you know it! Try this fun paint and sip class in Pickles in Handbridge, and create your own masterpiece whilst having a wonderful time.
Not painted at all or since school? This paint and sip class gives you the chance to try it again in a fun, judgement-free and relaxed environment! Enjoy an evening of painting, hosted by a professional artist – they’ll help you unleash your creativity by loosely instructing you how to paint a picture chosen for the event.
Have fun, paint and play music. You can't do anything wrong in this painting class and no experience is necessary to create something brilliant. Free-styling is encouraged and beginners are welcome, get loose and get creative!
You might be surprised what you can paint when you don't take yourself too seriously. Two hours later you’ll have a canvassed painting you can hang on your wall at home or gift to someone special.
Your ticket is for the paint party only. Snacks and drink are available for purchase at the bar on the night.
Arrive 15 minutes before your class begins to choose your seat and get settled (particularly if you're in a large group!).
Please note:
  • Events are for adults, 18+ only.

  • 5/5 from Caroline, attended Sep 2026: We booked as a party of four, for a fun evening out. Lindsey was a superb teacher, reassuring and made a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Our party was mixed in terms of artistic ability (from none to quite creative!) yet she gave clear advice and let everyone follow their style and try something bold. Pickles was a brilliant venue, easy to find and great staff and drink choices. It was a superb evening, fun and friendly, looking forward to doing another class. Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Helen, attended Sep 2026: Group of us booked this for a night out and we had a blast. Our host explained everything and was supportive the whole time. Who knew we could paint! We were so pleased with ourselves and can't wait to go again. My picture is already on the wall at home.
  • 5/5 from Roy Brennan, attended Sep 2026: A great event, teacher was fun and knowledgeable, we were lead through with ease.
  • 5/5 from Katherine Pudney, attended Jul 2026: Thank you for a wonderful evening. It was so good to actually do something I’ve wanted to try for ages and just put paint to a canvas! And learn some techniques & the confidence to hopefully do it some more.

  • 5/5 from Sue Potter, attended Jan 2026: A brilliant evening with two amazing art teachers. Pity we struggled to hear because of the noisy cheese & wine sharing the area. But excellent group of painters and teachers
  • 5/5 from Kevan Hearn, attended Jan 2026: Great experience, well looked after, being absolute novices Lucy made us feel at home and stepped us through what we should be doing. Great atmosphere, with some gorgeous wine to sip, my painting wasn't as bad as feared, highly recommended.
  • 5/5 from Sue McCrone, attended Nov 2025: Fabulous evening! Lyndsey is a great at teaching us to paint and makes it so much fun too. A throughly enjoyable class and I would highly recommend it to everyone to give it a go. Already booked my next one!
