I am a full-time restaurant manager overseeing a busy venue in Liverpool city centre, alongside running a small Etsy business from home. Like many people, I have experienced challenges with anxiety and depression, and I began exploring different creative outlets as a way to relax and unwind after stressful days.After trying a variety of crafts and techniques, I discovered crochet, which quickly became both a creative passion and a form of mindfulness for me. It allows me to stay focused, switch off from daily pressures, and create something meaningful from just yarn and a few simple tools. The process has brought me a great sense of joy and accomplishment, and I hope to share that experience with others.In addition to running a crochet business, I also organise and host “Sip and Create” classes within the restaurant, including activities such as clay modelling, jewellery making, and painting. These sessions are designed to provide people with a few hours each week to relax, socialise, and reconnect with their creativity. My goal is to encourage others to discover the same sense of comfort, confidence, and joy that crafting and creating has brought into my own life.
