Silver Stacking Rings Workshop

Traditional Silversmithing & Silver Clay

6 hours Class size 1 to 3 guests       £130 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

Make your own silver stacking rings in a fun, hands-on workshop! Learn traditional silversmithing combined with silver clay techniques, personalise your rings with your own embellishments, and celebrate your creations with cream tea and a glass of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative.
Spend a creative day learning the art of silver jewellery making and craft your own two stacking rings with embellishments. You’ll combine traditional silversmithing techniques to make the rings using recycled silver wire, then create embellishments from silver clay to solder onto your pieces. Any leftover clay can be transformed into a small charm to take home.
This small, hands-on workshop is limited to 3-4 participants maximum, ensuring plenty of individual attention. At the end of the day, we’ll celebrate your creations with a cream tea and a glass of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative.
This workshop is held in my home studio, so I can keep it small and personal - with no more than three to four students at a time. This allows me to give each person plenty of individual attention and guidance in a relaxed, creative space. In addition, there’s no minimum number needed - so your workshop will always go ahead.
Who Should Attend
This course is perfect for learners with no previous experience in silversmithing or silver clay, as well as those with experience in other crafts. It’s also suitable for anyone new to creative activities. Most importantly, participants should bring a willingness to learn, experiment, and have fun.
What Happens on the Day
Morning: Learn to make your basic ring bands, including measuring for the perfect fit, preparing and soldering, filing, and sanding.
Afternoon: Create embellishments using silver clay, fire your pieces with a jeweller’s torch, and solder them onto your rings. Finish and polish your rings to perfection.
