Looking for a fun and creative activity in Brighton? Look no further than this jewellery making class in Brighton at Starling Studios! In this engaging workshop, you'll have the opportunity to learn the art of jewellery making and create your very own unique rings to take home.

Don't worry if you're a beginner, this class is designed to alleviate any fears and provide a welcoming environment for all skill levels. Our experienced instructor will guide you every step of the way, ensuring that you feel confident and comfortable throughout the process.

Throughout the course, you'll have a full six-hour day in our beautiful Starling Studios classroom. You'll start by working with copper wire and then progress to using silver D-shape and round wire. By the end of the class, you'll have learned how to cut, solder, form, and decorate your rings.

The materials you'll need for the class will be provided, including copper wire and two lengths of silver wire. With these high-quality materials, you'll be able to craft rings that stand the test of time and showcase your newfound skills!

Please note that this is not a purpose built workshop but a supportive environment in which to play and develop your ideas.

Anna Watson


Anna has been an artist, designer and maker for many years, she achieved a First Class degree in 3D Design Materials Practice at the University of Brighton where she specialised in woodwork and metal. For the past 10 years she has worked in the jewellery industry for commercial designers as well as local artisan jewellers. Anna has her own jewellery business where she creates jewellery ranges and works to commission. Her work has been exhibited at New Designers in London, Portal in South Wales and she has supplied her work wholesale to London Design Museum and at a selection of high end galleries in Scotland and the UK. Anna is continually developing designs and enjoys pushing the boundaries of jewellery and making. In 2018 she did a residency in Athens where she exhibited her work and in 2019 she participated in an exhibition in Munich as part of Munich Jewellery Week. Anna particularly enjoys teaching and encouraging students to develop designs and ideas.
