Silver Metal Clay Jewellery Making Workshop

Here’s your chance to learn how to make your own silver metal clay jewellery in this fabulous 3 hour workshop.Hosted by Anna Davenport, owner of Silver Nutshell Jeweller and Muddy Stilettos Award Winner for Best Jeweller in Glos and Worcs 2022, Anna is a brilliant teacher and an expert on silver metal clay jewellery.Using delicate mandala moulds and cutters, you'll have the opportunity to create intricate designs inspired by nature. And if you're feeling adventurous, Anna will teach you how to make your own moulds using leaves, herbs, and seashells. The possibilities are endless!Throughout the workshop, you'll be treated to bottomless teas, coffees, and delicious cakes to keep you energised and refreshed. Don't worry if you've never worked with silver metal clay before. Anna will guide you through all the essential techniques, including shaping, cutting, drying, filing, and finishing your pieces. You'll also learn how to safely torch fire and polish your finished creations.In this workshop you will discover how to:

• Use a jump ring to make a pendant

PLUS, you’ll have a chance to ask lots of questions, and you’ll leave with at least two pieces of solid silver jewellery in a gift box.Absolutely no experience is needed, and all you need to bring is a notebook if you’d like to take notes. All other materials and tools will be provided, including 7g silver metal clay and a sterling silver chain.Additional items such as ear wires, further sterling silver chains, or moulding compound and packs of silver metal clay will all be available to purchase on the day if desired. You’ll also receive a full list of all materials that you’ve used, so you can continue your silver metal clay experience and make beautiful jewellery at home. ~ All materials and tools needed
