Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?
If you cancel 4 weeks or more before the class we will refund 100% of the class price. If you cancel between 4 weeks and 7 days of the class we will not provide a refund but will allow you to reschedule to a future date. Under 7 days we do not refund. We allow the booking to be transferred to another person of your choice but we shall not be involved in any financial agreement or transfer of payment between you and the person taking your place. In the event that you cannot attend a class and find someone to take your place please email Sian with the person’s details as far in advance of the class as possible. In order to run, the course will need a minimum of 4 students. If the course doesn’t reach the minimum requirement, it may need to be cancelled and all fees will be refunded.
Q: Where is the class being held?
Alice Holt is a Forestry England property and a beautiful forest! The address is GU10 4LS, Bucks Horn Oak, near Farnham. There is a large car park and the parking fee is covered in the class fee. You will be asked to supply your car registration. On site is a large cafe selling tasty hot and cold food. In the classroom there will be a kettle for hot drinks and biscuits.

This class is the perfect introduction if you've ever wanted to create your own jewellery but felt daunted by the process.This is a fun, no-pressure activity where you will learn the basics of working with silver clay. It’s as easy to mould as regular clay but transforms into pure, shiny silver once fired. In just a few hours, I will show you how to make three to five personalised pieces. You'll get to explore simple shapes or textured designs and see your creativity turn into solid silver. You will experience the thrill of torch-firing your creations yourself under my expert guidance, or you can leave them with me to be kiln-fired and mailed back to you.A 7g pack of top-quality silver clay is included, giving you more than enough to craft multiple charms. All the tools are provided, and you'll have the option to purchase earring hooks and chains to turn your charms into ready-to-wear jewellery.Please note, due to the use of a very hot torch, this is not a child-friendly class. Hi! I'm Sian and I've been a metal clay artist and teacher for nearly 30 years. Hamilton Jewellery has been around since 2008 and is one of my small businesses. I also run a freelance web and graphic design business! I love craft, pretty much all craft and I've always been passionate about teaching what I know to others. My classes are all based in metal clay, I'm a huge fan of silver clay as it opens up silver jewellery making to so many people who don't have traditional silversmithing skills or the desire to learn complex processes. I teach beginners and intermediate classes using Art Clay Silver in the education centre at Alice Holt Forest, near Farnham. It's a beautiful setting and the classroom has lots of space and a kitchen for cups of tea! I love colour so lots of my classes involve using acrylic inks and resin to add pops of colour to the silver pieces. I hope you'll join me and I look forward to meeting you at a class very soon.
