- Learn how to load a film camera (bring your own or borrow one from Little Vintage Photography).
- Shoot a roll of black and white film during a guided photowalk.
- Mix all your own black and white chemistry.
- Learn how to use a darkbag to load a daylight tank.
- Process your own roll(s) of film by hand.
- Dry, view, cut and scan/digitise your negatives.
- Due to the historical nature of the building, there is no lift access. Access to the studio is via a short flight of stairs to the front door and up 2x internal flights of stairs. The darkroom is via a flight of external open iron steps down to the bank vault in the basement.
- The person making the booking must be over 18. Any under 18's must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/educational provider aged over 18 at all times or will be turned away and no refund can be offered.

Hello! I’m Rachel and I run Little Vintage Photography which is based in Liverpool, North West UK but which I take all over the world. I am also the official Darkroom Educator for ILFORD Photo, the world-leading B&W film manufacturer.I set up my creative business to capture the unique, imperfect and beautiful moments of life using traditional photographic processes, and in order to help others learn to do the same!I specialise in analogue photographic techniques, capture stories on film, print by hand in the darkroom and run creative and educational workshops for anyone curious to learn about alternative ways of making images in more mindful ways through magical, crafts-based processes which combine science, art and heritage.
