- 5/5 from Christine Ramsdale, attended Oct 2026: I’ve not sewn since school which is over 50 years, and I took my 15 yr old granddaughter who’s never sewn. Precious was brilliant, starting us out practising how to use the machines and the irons! We then made our tote bags and were thrilled with them. Precious has the patience of a saint, plus being really knowledgeable. I wish I lived nearer so I could do her weekly classes. I’d thoroughly recommend a days taster for anyone unsure about sewing.

Great for beginners and Precous is very good at explaining everything and very patient with the group, a great teacher and really warm and friendly. 10/10 had a great afternoon and met some lovely people.

Having said that Precious, the teacher, was patient and knowledgeable. She was helpful at every stage and allowed plenty of time to complete the Tote Bag. I was delighted with the results and honestly did learn a lot in the allotted time. Whilst refreshments were provided there was no coffee - smallproblemi k ow, but I don't drink tea and would have loved a coffee.
