Sewing Mat, Caddy and Accessories Workshop

Are you new to sewing and want a starting project? Do you wish all your sewing accessories were more organised and easily to hand? Then we have the workshop for you.In this hands-on workshop, you will be making and quilting a mat to sit under your sewing machine, as well as a range of detachable accessories for it. These include a pin cushion, tool holder (e.g. scissors), and a thread catcher. All of these accessories will be attached by Velcro so they can be added, used, and removed when needed.Wadding, Velcro, bias binding, and templates will be supplied, but you will need to bring your own fabric or purchase some from our lovely range in the shop. We have 5 sewing machines which you can use, but if you would rather bring your own, then you are more than welcome.In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn how to cut out your mat, bind the edges, and quilt it.
