4 hours Class size 1 to 4 guests       £15

In this sewing workshop, you will master the art of creating your own versatile Tote Bag using patchwork processes under the expert guidance of Lucianne at The Fox Studios. Lucianne will lead you through essential techniques, even if you're a complete beginner, helping you confidently sew straight stitches on your machine. Throughout the three-hour workshop, you will start by cutting up your old pair of jeans, pinning, sewing, and finishing your tote bag to take home. Embrace the engaging and constructive experience of sewing, a relaxing way to unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
While we aim for you to finish your piece during the workshop, rest assured that you will leave equipped with the necessary skills to complete your Tote Bag at home. By the end of the class, not only will you have your very own handmade Tote Bag to proudly wear, but you will also feel accomplished and ready to explore more sewing projects with newfound confidence. So, get ready to immerse yourself in this rewarding and enlightening activity.

Having studied Textiles at Manchester School of Art and focusing in on textile waste and solutions, I was devastated by the issues caused due to pollution, waste and climate change. I began my journey with up-cycling and mending techniques to combat this waste and my own anxiety. My practice explores and experiments with re-use and re-purposing processes within fashion and textiles. With community engagement at the heart of my motives, I am all about sustainable and creative wellbeing achieved through workshops and 1-1 tuition.
