I really enjoyed the Classic Granny Square Workshop that I attended today. The teacher, Deb, was patient and gave clear instructions. She was able to help me when I went wrong.

I can highly recommend the Knitted miniature cacti class. I only knew a little about knitting and Claire, the instructor, was very helpful and patient.
By the end of the session I felt confident to complete my cactus and start the next.
All the equipment needed to complete the project was provided in the cost of the workshop.
I would recommend this starter class.
