  • 5/5 from Catherine Roberts, attended Oct 2026: A fantastic introduction to pottery. Our teacher Faiza was brilliant and we really enjoyed our session. Good venue too.
  • 5/5 from Viki Lishman, attended Sep 2026: Freya, the teacher, was friendly, professional and very helpful. She explained different methods fully and made the class feel relaxed. Very easy to use the gift card, good location and we’ll definitely be attending another class.
  • 5/5 from Amie Lavender, attended Mar 2026: What a lovely night. Sara was an amazing teacher and lovely person. She made the class super fun and I’ll definitely be booking again. Thanks
  • 5/5 from Nathan Giles, attended Feb 2026: Great fun. Would recommend this activity
  • 5/5 from Karen Emmott, attended Feb 2026: I recd. the class as a gift from my daughter, our grown-up family of four attended. The communication was good leading up to the class. The teachers were friendly and helpful, the equiptment provided was excellent, aprons included. There was ample clay. We initially lacked inspiration, as you are left totally free to make whatever, with basic inst. given re sticking bits together etc. However, we all eventually produced items of decent if varied quality. The only problem with the spacious open plan bar area the class was held in, was the music and TV screens, which the host venue apparently wouldn't turn the volume down on, while the teacher was trying to explain about the skills reqd. This only took her approx 3 mins, and was almost completely mimed, as we couldn't hear a thing!! Venue Rude :(The next issue faced by us sculpters was safely transporting our soft clay creations home safely!! The class provided a fairly sturdy 'plate', and a large paper bag to help with this. We went to the class not knowing what to expect, but were a bit worried to find that whatever we made had to be taken away, left to fully dry for about a week, before being painted in Mod Podge glue, and then colour painted (if we felt inclined). We were staying overnight in accommodation not too far away from the class, but then had to safely transport the still very delicate masterpieces, along with rucksacks, and various other luggage, back to our hometown on the train!!!!! By some miracle they have all survived relitavely intact :))) We have yet to see them fully dry, or paint them etc. Another thing to note is that apparently the finished articles aren't suitable for food, but tbh I think that as long as you only put dry goods in/on your article it would probably be ok. Overall a fun activity that requires more fore thought than real skill. I made a horse head that I am proud of, my eldest made an F1 car (yes really!), youngest, a lidded storage pot, and the husband made a life size mole (yes really!)
  • 5/5 from Sarah Dowson, attended Nov 2025: We had a private class and everyone really enjoyed it! We all made something with help from lovely Faiza. I've already been asked to organise another one
  • 5/5 from Jennifer Scott, attended Nov 2025: Really enjoyed the class! The teacher was very friendly and helpful. We had fun creating a range of Christmas decorations. It would be a great event to attend with friends, family, or a date.
  • 5/5 from Cara Wilson, attended Nov 2025: Good fun, great for beginners. Could have done with a rolling pin and cookie cutters, but other than that, had everything we needed! Friendly host, helped everyone when needed, would recommend

  • 4/5 from Shalman Ojukwu, attended Aug 2025: The teacher was great, gave us an walkthrough on how to start and make a mini bowl and especially like the relax nature of the class
  • 5/5 from Karena Heron, attended Jul 2025: Want a unique way to spend a couple of hours having a laugh with pals for not a lot of money? Then book one of these classes! Sarah who was our teacher is so artistic and gave us great ideas of what to make with the clay. And of course you keep your masterpiece! Great fun for birthday, hen do, or just a day out with pals. You don't get dirty so don't worry about clothes getting covered in clay. The whole group was around a dozen people but Sarah kept it quite personal by coming to the tables of individual groups rather than addressing the group as a whole. You can make anything you want and as many items as long as it's within the two hours. Highly recommend this, we will definitely be doing another one without waiting for a special occasion.
  • 3/5 from Deborah Evans, attended Apr 2025: The location wasn’t conducive to it being a class so there was no chatting with other participants, the teacher came round the tables individually. The teacher was very good, and I think the venue was odd to her too. Overall we had a good time chatting between the two of us, but it wasn’t the group activity I was expecting.
  • 5/5 from Dan Mellis, attended Mar 2025: Sarah was really helpful and enthusiastic.
  • 5/5 from Rachel Ronaldson, attended Mar 2025: We ordered a private class for a hen party, and Paintvine bent over backwards to accommodate us, even finding an alternative venue on short notice! Sarah and Freya were excellent teachers and accommodated everything we needed! We absolutely loved the session, it was so much fun and highly recommend! The team also helped organise storage of our pottery to pick up later, so we could head into town without worry. 10000/10, definitely give this a go! I can’t give a glowing enough review
  • 5/5 from Oliver Welsh, attended Jan 2025: Super fun class. Helpful teachers in a good bar
  • 5/5 from Vicky Young, attended Jan 2025: Thoroughly enjoyed the class, great teachers, great atmosphere, great fun!
  • 5/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Sep 2024: Staff enjoyed both the team bonding and CPD elements of the session. The teacher was very informative, helpful and supportive of those who had very limited prior experience with clay. The materials were high quality and all brand new. The QR code for suggested creations and step by step instructions made for a seamless transition from teacher input over to independent exploration. Key vocabulary and techniques were taught such as cross hatching, coiling, slip and thumb pressing. The venue was stunning. The old bank made for an atmospheric afternoon.
