This is a creamy and rich dish with fresh mussels flavoured with Marsala and fresh sage, served with garlic crostini, served with knife-cut fresh tuna tartare with a salty caper sauce and olive oil.
Learn how to perfectly cook fresh mussels and enhance the unique flavour of the Marsala with seafood. Prepare the base with fresh herbs and serve it with rustic Bruschette brushed with garlic. You’ll prepare a simple tartare hand-cut combined with capers, tomatoes, lemon and olive oil.

Hi, my name is Davide Cerretini, also known as 'The One Star Chef'. I'm a native of Tuscany and spent the last 30 years in Los Angeles and San Francisco, where I had a long career as a chef and restauranteur. I have experience in the entertainment business, as I have appeared in TV shows, such as The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, starred in a movie, as well as being interviewed countless times across radio and TV internationally.
The food I cook is 100% authentically Tuscan, learned from my family growing up in the countryside of Italy. Throughout my career I have focused on preserving the flavours and ancient techniques of that region without compromise. I am very passionate about the stories behind the dishes and how simple ingredients prepared in the right way can be so much more satisfying and flavourful than elaborate and complex recipes.
My classes are relaxed, humorous and full of storytelling. You will learn tips and tricks that I picked up while growing up in Tuscany, and never forgot.
I love to share my secrets with beginners, but also with more skilled chefs that haven't had the opportunity to experience the unique way of cooking that you only find in Tuscany.
My goal is to create a friendly atmosphere with relaxing interaction, all orbiting around delicious food, wine, stories and learning.
