What you'll do
In this resin ocean shell art workshop, you will create a stunning ocean-inspired piece using epoxy resin and various art mediums. Perfect for beginners, this class offers a friendly and supportive environment to learn and explore a new medium.
- Gain shared knowledge, tips, and guidance from an experienced resin artist.
- Understand the basics of epoxy resin including mixing ratios, curing times, and preparation techniques.
- Dive into creating beautiful resin ocean trinket dish encapsulated in a seashell.
- All materials provided, ensuring a safe and creative working environment.
Throughout the workshop, you'll be immersed in the transformative world of epoxy resin art. Despite the drying time of approximately 7 days, the newfound creative skills and confidence gained will be yours to keep long after the class ends.
Join me in my Leicester studio at the historic Makers Yard for an engaging and enriching learning activity that will unleash your creativity and leave you with two unique resin masterpieces.

Leicester based, contemporary self taught resin & mixed media artist, Bhavna Gandhi.
My works of art are inspired by the coastlines, nature & our universe. I forever explore a variety of mediums & natural elements such a flowers, crystals, sand which I encapsulate into my resin art works giving them texture & making them both tactile & unique pieces.
The creations which I produce range from ; hand painted ink art indoor planters, botanical coasters made from dried flowers & leaves encapsulated in epoxy resin, artisan trinket dishes, hand painted serving boards completed with a resin finish, ink art prints, large celestial themed wall art, ocean inspired coffee tables embellished with healing crystals.
In the last couple of years l have taught art classes & have released 7 new resin art classes this year (2024). Sharing my knowledge, expertise & wisdom with individuals who have been inspired by my
work has been humbling & rewarding.
