I am a surface pattern designer, a crafter and a craft teacher based in Cardiff. My love affair with crafting started very young when we learned to embroider our initials onto our school P.E. Kit! In my twenties I got into dressmaking - entranced by all the beautiful fabrics that I could see. From there I picked up hand embroidery, crochet, soapmaking and then papercraft, which I have been doing for about 13 years. The thing I love the most about being creative is the absolute joy that comes from taking a run-of-the-mill items like paper and card, and combining them to create something entirely new and beautiful and unique. I started a YouTube channel and teaching online classes so that I could share that joy of creation with others. Expanding to in-person workshops seemed like a natural progression.
