My creative journey began through modelling and makeup artistry, which eventually led me into the colourful world of face and body art. In 2012, I founded Beautiful Faces, and over the past 14 years I’ve had the privilege of face painting at major events and for organisations including Microsoft, the FA, London Lions Basketball, Cancer Research UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Notting Hill Carnival.
A pivotal moment in my journey came during lockdown, when I began exploring fine art more deeply. Painting became a source of peace, reflection and reconnection for me. Inspired by nature, faith and the beauty of God’s creation, I developed my practice using oils and acrylics to create landscapes, florals, wildlife and ocean-inspired pieces.
That personal experience helped inspire Relax & Paint: a guided painting and wellbeing experience designed to help people slow down, switch off and enjoy meaningful time for themselves. My sessions combine step-by-step painting, gentle reflection and uplifting music in welcoming, carefully chosen venues. They are created for complete beginners, so you don’t need to be “good at art” or have any previous experience.
I love teaching because I get to watch people surprise themselves. Many guests arrive saying, “I can’t paint, ” but by the end of the session, they’re proudly holding a finished canvas and feeling calmer, more confident and accomplished. For me, the experience is about so much more than producing a painting, it is about creating space to breathe, connect and rediscover creativity without pressure.
I have delivered public, private and corporate wellbeing sessions, including a successful monthly programme within Santander’s Economic Crime Risk teams. My experience also includes planning creative experiences, supporting team wellbeing and adapting sessions for different groups and occasions.
Something people may not know about me is that my creative journey has moved through several different worlds, from modelling and makeup to face painting, fine art and wellbeing. Each chapter has taught me that creativity can bring joy, build confidence and help people reconnect with themselves.
Whether you come alone, with friends or as part of a team, I’ll guide you warmly through the experience. My aim is for you to leave not only with a painting you’re proud of, but also feeling lighter, refreshed and glad that you made time for yourself.
