I have been creating pottery for the last 25+ years and now teach approximately 400 people a year from 1.5 hour taster sessions up to whole days or a series of classes for those wanting to learn more techniques. My specialism is slipware pottery which means that the colours that you see come from the clay itself, with the addition of various oxides, and a clear glaze is then added afterwards. This is ideal for classes because you can decorate the raw pot as soon as it has been made.
