What you'll do
Bring a relaxed, creative session to your group with a private loose watercolour animals workshop, led by me at your venue.This is a beginner-friendly 2 hour workshop for groups of 10 or more in the Cambridge area. I come to you with all the materials, so all you need to provide is a room with tables and chairs. It works well for friends, clubs, birthdays, team days and community groups.We will paint beautiful, loose animals, focusing on playful techniques rather than perfect sketches. I will guide you step by step through the basics of watercolour painting, and you will explore:
- How to layer your paints
- The difference between wet-in-wet and wet-in-dry techniques
- How to judge the right amount of water
- How different brushes create different textures
- How to create splashy effects and textured layers that bring your animals to life
- Groups of 10 or more, at £50 per person (£500 minimum for the 2 hours).
- I travel to you, within around 20 miles of Cambridge.
- Please give at least 2 weeks' notice when you send a request.
- You provide a room with tables and chairs for everyone. If anyone in your group has access needs, let me know and we will plan for them.
