Learn how to sculpt a charming clay gnome from scratch at this friendly and relaxing pottery workshop in Wimbledon. This activity is a wonderful opportunity to get creative with clay and make a unique decoration, perfect as a gift or a lovely addition to your own home.
This session is designed for complete beginners, so no previous experience of working with clay is required. Your expert tutor will guide you step-by-step, showing you how to shape and personalise your gnome from a generous allocation of clay. You are encouraged to bring along photos for inspiration – you could base your design on your favourite colours or even the kit of your local football team!
Please be aware that the final 15 minutes of the class are dedicated to clean-up time. This workshop is suitable for adults and teens aged 14 and over. Attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
You'll leave this session with a wonderful sense of accomplishment and your very own handmade gnome, ready to add a touch of personality to any space.
What you'll get
Please be aware that you will have to return to the workshop to get your finished piece - we're unable to send ceramics in the post. Please allow 8 weeks for this process, your work will need time to dry plus go through our firing process twice.
